We loved that this location wasn’t a part of the tourist hotspots. It made us feel like one of the locals during our stay.

This is not merely another property .. Elessa is the dream of Yanni its owner who is personally involved and present on the property. Every aspect right from reservations to ensuring pick up from the airport or port is promptly and warmly done.
Elessa is a luxurious property in Pyrgos with a fantastic view of the sea.
Pyrgos which was the capital of Santorini is a pretty village with character and some great food options. While the sunset from OIA is justifiably famous, we found the sunset view from the Pyrgos castle (15 mins walk from Elessa) to be stunning too ..
Mike who works with Elessa to handle transport is very dependable and friendly … he has been six sigma in terms of ensuring we get picked up and dropped off on time everytime.
We had the villa with hot pool and we throughly enjoyed our time at Elessa.
Breakfast is very good too and wirh multiple freshly cooked options.
Overall a lovely experience and we look forward to being back :)

Pirgos is a lovely village 10 mins from the airport....but you wouldn't know it was that close noise wise.
The village has quite a few restaurants so not short of choice. It also has a mini mart and a bakery and a really good pharmacy should you need one. So really quite the perfect place with all you could want.
There is a bus service so you can get into the main town Fira and from there to other places on the island fairly easily and cheaply.
All in all it a really excellent place to stay

We loved everything we did in Pyrgos.
We loved everything we did in Pyrgos. We were able to walk to the village and the winery. We also were able to rent a car and see the island!
Be open about needing to stop and figure out where you are. We walked 20K steps each day and sometimes backtracked because we don't read the local language. But the moments of looking lost allowed us to connect with other travelers who made great selections.
The trails were wonderful. The sunsets were spectacular. We visited a little off season, so there were no crowds.
I hadn't driven a manual transmission in 30 years, it took a minute to gain my confidence. If you plan to rent a car try to refresh the skills, steep hills is not the place to learn to use a clutch!
One of my favorite memories was an afternoon at Triana tavern. Enjoy!

Great restaurants, great bakery, amazing views of the sunset...
Great restaurants, great bakery, amazing views of the sunset from the castle / Franco's Bar. The gyros cafe in the square served the best gyros I've had in Greece and it was very well priced.
Mataroa restaurant is genuinely fantastic - the octopus was amazing.

Absolutely stunning little village. Friendly locals and lots of restaurants. You can easily walk around and there are busstops to help you easily access the rest of santorini if you don’t want to pay for taxis.

A lovely town close to our hotel.
A lovely town close to our hotel. Less congested than Fira and more relaxed than Oia. We had lunch at one restaurant and dinner at another. Both experiences were excellent. Town has useful amenities like petrol, pharmacy and supermarket and great views down to the Caldera cliff tops.
Very high-quality accommodation and property in general.
Top-tier service - super-friendly people who proactively try to accommodate all your needs (and even anticipate which needs you may have!). They remind your preferences, so, I experienced a highly personalized experience.
The owner of the hotel is extremely friendly but down-to-earth, accessible and overall a knowledgeable person.
I found the hotel elegant and stylish but not at all over the top. Exactly right for fellow lovers of architecture and design.
The suite was exceptionally spacious , beautifully maintained and the most comfortable bed! We loved the view and the outside areas. The family who own and run the hotel were fantastic - friendly, helpful and concerned that their guests enjoy the best of Santorini. Our flight was not till late in the evening but they were more than happy to store our luggage. give us a late check-out and allow us full use of the pool and outside area. Thank you Sula!
This hotel is very well located as it’s in the middle of the island so you can explore everything. The town of Pyrgos is far away from the crowd and really authentic. You can still find shops and good restaurants. The room was perfect, the pool is really a must and the view was amazing. The staff is really kind and can give you advices for your stay and help you with reservations and they serve a wonderful breakfast every morning.
Lovely hotel with fabulous, spacious and spotlessly clean rooms. Cosy beds, nice shower and jacuzzi too. We were greeted with wine and a platter on arrival. Outstanding delicious breakfast and very friendly staff. Nice pool area too. Good location in Pyrgos and easy to get bus to Fira, Oia etc. Would definitely recommend.
The property is beautiful and well kept. The staff were great and very helpful. It's great value for money. There are restaurants within walking distance, Pyrgos being the best one. Breakfast was delicious and I was very surprised how good the hotels' restaurant food was. Overall a very pleasant experience.
The property is located in Pyrgos Village, one of the most beautiful villages in Santorini. The breakfast was delicious and the staff also helpful and friendly. Extremely clean room. We had really a memorable stay! Highly recommendable hotel. Thank you all and we will come again for sure!!!
It was lovely for the 2 off us, cute- cosy except at night when the temperature dropped. It was equipped with everything you would need for a short break and it's located in the heart of pyrgos. But to get here in a taxi from the airport €36 and ferry port €40 Loocal travel by bus is €2
The hotel is clean, the staff are professional and friendly. Excellent service and delicious food. I will definitely stay at this hotel again when I visit Santorini again. Filia and Margarita planned and booked all the events we wanted and recommended the best things in Santorini.
central location in a quite area and very near to other attractions in Santorini, and it has a beautiful view over caldera sea. And thanks to the hotel staff for their great hospitality and speical thanks to Dora ❤️…it was the best choice for our honeymoon
We had a lovely time at Symphony Suites. The staff was so helpful and friendly. Georgia and Katerina were especially helpful and were available at all times! The room exceeded our expectations and the hotel was really close to the main attractions.
The hotel is located in a good area with everything you need around you.
The view is amazing, the pool and the private pool is even better.
The staff was great and nice, helped us with everything we needed.
The breakfast is rich and fresh.
